ACTION PACT OF THE TASKFORCE ON PREVENTION OF #COVID-19 IN OGU/BOLO LGA, HEADED BY BARR. HON. CHRISTIANA TAMUNOBERETON-ARI.

Action pact of the Taskforce on Prevention of #COVID-19 in Ogu/Bolo LGA, headed by Barr. Hon. Christy Tamunoberetonari, Vice Chairman of Council.

Upon inauguration as the Taskforce in the Prevention of COVID-19, in Ogu/Bolo Local Government Council, the Taskforce being charged by the Executive Council Chairman, Hon. Erasmus O. Victor (Navy Capt. Rtd) for a robust check and implementation of State (s) policies on the Corona Virus outbreak in Nigeria and Rivers State haven recorded one case. 
The Taskforce as headed by the Vice Chairman of the Council immediately swing into action, engaging in a persistent town crier which in local climes such as ours is the commonest in disseminating informations in the mother tongue. 
The committee further moved to implementing the closure of major markets in the area with a robust enlightenment of the deadly scourge.
To march words with actions, the erudite Vice Chairman gave out clean water cans, Sanitizers, face masks and gloves at the following Churches, Health centres and places of common reckon.
1. Chuku-Ama Health Center.
2. St. Stephen (Ang.) Church Chuku-Ama.
3. Bolo Primary Health Center.
4. Christ Army Church Bolo.
5. Bolo daily Market.
6. St. Gabriel's (Ang.) Church Bolo.
7. First African Church, Bolo.
8. Ogu Primary Health Center.
9. Ogu daily market.
10. St. Michael's Christ Army Church, Ogu.
11. St. Martin's (Ang.) Church, Ogu.
12. Owuogono-Ama Health center.
13. Ikpo-Ama Health center.
14. Opu-Ama Health center.
15. Wakama Health center.
16. Ogu/Bolo LGA Secretariat.
17. Ele Community Health Centre.
The Christy committee poised to enhance the safety of citizens of the Area called on all persons, both indigenes and strangers alike to be magnanimous enough to themselves as the only known prevention to the World's emmerency pandemic is #SELF_ISOLATION, #STAY_AT_HOME and #PERSONAL_HYGIENE
She urged all to stay safe, adding that with God's hand on Earth, the killer disease will surely come to an end.
