OGU/BOLO AGOG AS THE PEOPLE RECEIVED PALLIATIVES TO CUSION THE HARDSHIP EXPERIENCING.

In a precarious situation humanity has find himself, it's only imperative for people of goodwill to rise to the occasion. As the world wake up to observe a war like imposed pandemic ravaging human race, rendering people helpless, some bed ridden, yet some in abject poverty-stricken.
In a manner to curb the spread of the deadly disease, the Government helpless as it were, imposed a sit at home amidst other measures introduced by health organisations like World Health Organisation and agencies like National Centre for Disease Control, NCDC.
It was this starvation orchestrated by the Corona virus, Covid-19 that men and women of goodwill are up for any measure that can bring sucore to their people.
Against this backdrop, the wife of the Senator representing Rivers East Senatorial District in the Nigeria's Senate, upper legislative chambers, Princess Asime G.T. Sekibo, put smiles on the faces of her people in Ogu/Bolo Local Government Area of Rivers State.
Manned by the Executive Vice Chairman of the Council, in company of others, various food items went into the waiting hands of the masses. Addressing recipients, Barr. Mrs. Christy Tamunoberetonari, who doubles as the Chairman of the Taskforce on Corona virus in the LGA, said the gesture was born out of glowing heart of our mother, and called on the people to adhere strictly to the stay at home directive, stressing that, as humans, we must be alive to face a better tomorrow, hence the need for washing of your hands regularly, using of alcohol base sanitizers, keeping social distance and staying at home to mitigate the spreading of the killer pandemic that has posed itself as a war on humanity.
Some of the recipients express happiness and satisfaction on the gesture and prayed God to bless the hands of their sister who has helped them in this trying moment of humanity unrest.

COVID-19, HUNGER ALLEVIATION.
The Lawmaker representing Ogu/Bolo in the State house of Assembly and Chief Whip of the RSHA, Hon Evans Bipi today shared loads of food items worth thousands of naira in his LGA. 

The stay at home exercise caused untold hardship on the good people of Ogu/Bolo LGA since their Markets where shutdown, the lawmaker deemed it necessary to ease the hardship meted on his people by providing food items for them. 
He promised to be with them in thick and thin until this pandemic Corona Virus is no more. He advised the people of Ogu/Bolo to abide by the rules and regulations of the government. 
He also advised them to exercise proper hygiene at this time by washing their hands or sanitise always, keep social distancing and report any case found,
He promised more relief materials at when due.
