The Minister of Transport, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi storm Ogu Town

Speaking during visit, the Hon Minister thank the leadership of Ogu/Bolo and her esteem party faithfuls for their steadfastness resilience and trustworthiness.

According to the Minister, soon I will take time to visit each ward and go round to all the units in each ward in Ogu/Bolo LGA, where I will meet with the people on a round table.

Applauding the people, the Minister said Ogu/Bolo is the most behaved LGA he has ever seen in the entire tour.

The former Governor of Rivers State opined that it doesn't matter if you are from Upland or Riverine the most important thing is for everyone to come together and work to have a Riverine Governor come 2023.

He asserted that the fight is for Riverine Governor 2023. So today we have come just to say thank you for standing firm and unwavering, stressing that we shall meet them come 2023. "I remembered my people (Ikwerre) say when two elephant fight its the grass that suffers. Don't forget we have one year and six months to general elections, go to your units and register, and unit coordinators don't discriminate anyone. If the register is not enough we will request for more. So everyone go and register. Amaechi asserted.

COVID-19 VACCINATION FLAG-OFF (OGU-BOLO LGA.

The executive Chairman of Ogu/Bolo LGA, Navy Capt. Erasmus O. Victor (Rtd.) Has flagged-off the covid-19 vaccination in the LGA and urge all to follow suit as it is free and safe for all.

There are four (4) locations only for now where you can have this vaccines,

1. Ogu General Hospital, Ogu.
2. Ogu Primary Health Center, Ogu.
3. Bolo Primary Health Center, Bolo.
4. Ikpo-Ama Health Center, Ikpo-Ama.
