Chief Senator George T. Sekibo CON is a grass root mobilizer and a friend to widows and the needy in his Senatorial District and beyond. The prayers of the widows, orphans and the less-privileged have actually accelerated his political advancement. Through his untiring efforts, some developmental projects including sand reclamation were attracted to Ogu Community to complement what was earlier started by Late Chief Melford Obene Okilo the former Governor of Old Rivers State. Such is the man on whose behalf we are proud of.
Ogu people have followed with keen interest his contributions on the floor of the lower and upper chambers. He is indeed a worthy ambassador and we are very proud of him.
Today, Ogu people are proud of their illustrious son with a title of IGO ALABO (The Eagle) because of his sound representation, doggedness, and patriotic zeal.
