 Bishop Atuboyedia Flags Off Parsonage Project at Ogu Sandfilled

To the glory of God, the Bishop of the Diocese of Okrika, Rt. Rev’d. Dr. Enoch Atuboyedia JP, on Monday, 7th July 2025, officiated the foundation laying ceremony of the Church Parsonage Building at the Anglican Church of the Advent, Ogu Sandfilled Missionary Parish.

The Bishop thanked God for the growth of the parish and expressed sincere appreciation to the friends of Chief (Hon.) Barr. Boma Iyaye, who are collectively sponsoring the ongoing building project. He commended Chief Iyaye for inspiring such generosity and urged others to emulate this noble support for the work of God.

The event brought together clergy, parishioners, community leaders, and supporters in a spirit of thanksgiving and dedication. In his remarks, Bishop Atuboyedia called for unity, faith, and sacrifice in building the Church, reminding all that “the house of God must be built together.”

The parsonage, once completed, will serve as the residence for the parish clergy and stand as a lasting symbol of growth and stability in the mission field.
