RIVERS STATE GOVERNMENT HONOURS LATE MRS. COMFORT ADANWO OKAH AT SERVICE OF SONGS

The Rivers State Government on Tuesday, 21st July, joined family, friends, and dignitaries at the Rivers State Ecumenical Centre for a solemn Service of Songs in honour of the late Mrs. Comfort Adanwo Okah, beloved mother of former Rivers State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Hon. Emma Okah, PhD.

The event drew an impressive gathering of political leaders, government officials, clergy, and well-wishers who came to celebrate the life and legacy of the deceased. Among those in attendance were the Deputy Governor of Rivers State, Her Excellency, Professor Ngozi Mma Odu; former Governor of Rivers State, His Excellency, Sir Celestine Omehia; Dr. Abiye Sekibo; serving and former commissioners; members of the Rivers State Executive Council; members of the Rivers State House of Assembly; and several other prominent personalities.

Tributes highlighted Mrs. Okah's exemplary life of faith, compassion, humility, and dedication to family and community. Guests offered prayers and words of comfort to the Okah family, celebrating her enduring legacy and the values she instilled in generations.
