AFRICOM Chaplain Engages Nigerian Armed Forces on Troop Care and Ethics

Chaplain Colonel John Ijeoma of the U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM) recently held an engagement session with the Nigerian Armed Forces, focusing on key aspects of military spiritual and ethical support.

Discussions covered how to provide spiritual care in combat zones, address Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) among personnel, and instill ethical decision-making principles during initial military training.

The session aimed to strengthen the capacity of Nigerian military chaplains and support personnel in promoting troop well-being and moral leadership in challenging environments.
